U Series

From iriver Wiki, your source for everything iriver - a part of MisticRiver.

The U10 and its subsequent replacement, the clix are both portable media players that utilize flash compatability.

Apart from Flash and Harddisk Players, the U Series branch was labeled as 'MultiFunction Player'. Current Models all use flash memory with 512 MB, 1 GB or 2 GB. The board layout shows reserved space for 4 GB models, although those models never where released.

Players

  • U10 - the first model with "D-Clix" operation, used with iriver plus software
  • clix - hardware and software modifications within U10's casing, tightly connected to Windows Media Player WMP11
  • S10 - the latest model which might start a series of its own (rumoured as N20 before)
  • U20 - the second generation of Clix player, sleeker and slimmer than its predecessor, the U10
