This page is almost the same as another, although the other is better, and this one has had it's link removed. Please see H10 Tips and Tricks for a better version.
You need to use the "UMS trick/Emergency Connection."
- 1. Dissconnect the H10 from your computer.
- 2. Turn off your H10.
- 3. Reset your H10.
- For a 5/6GB player, take out the battery then replace it.
- For a 20GB player, insert a sharp object (such as a straightened out paper clip) into the RESET hole to press the reset button.
- 4. Connect your H10 to the computer.
- 5. Press and hold the "O" button while turning on the H10, using the power button until you see player say "Emergency Connection."
