H10 Tips and Tricks/Line In RecordingFrom iriver Wiki, your source for everything iriver - a part of MisticRiver.(Redirected from I want to record from a line-in source with my H10.)
To use line-in recording, you must purchase wither the H10 Dock or the H10 portable Speaker system. Both of these have an input for your stereo or other audio device. Plug your device in and ensure it's volume is up high enough (Don't worry if you have a device which is using a line out as the volume will already be at 100%). Once your device is plugged in, put your H10 on the cradle and navigate to Recording > Line in. To begin recording press O, to stop recording, hold O.? [edit] Other OptionsThe H10 has some extra options for recording. These can be found in the menu under Settings > Extra > Recording. The first sets teh volume of the input. This is simply the H10's simple way of saying how much the player should drop the input volume by. Useful for loud or soft recordings. The second is a quality setting. The high quality setting is 320Kbps Stereo (Professional Quality), Medium is 128Kbps Stereo ("CD"-quality) and Low is 64Kbps Stereo (AM Radio Quality). Back to H10 Tips and Tricks |
