BatteryFrom iriver Wiki, your source for everything iriver - a part of MisticRiver.[edit] H1xx/H3xx seriesThe original battery from the H100 series is a Samsung SDI 345385A and a capacity of 1300 mAh. The part number shows the battery size: 3.4 x 53 x 85 mm. Real measurements have shown a thickness of about 3.3 mm. This battery is commonly named as Lithium-Ion battery, while more precisely it's a Lithium Polymer rechargeable battery (LiPo). Only single cells with 3.7 V are used. Suitable replacements are cells up to 3.8 mm thickness, such as 345585, 365585 or 385585. Different players have different hard disks and casing thickness, resulting in different space for the battery. A typical replacement part is PMPIRH1. Thicker and newer cells offer a higher capacity, increased from the original 1300 mAh up to 1700 mAh or 2200 mAh, providing significantly longer battery life. A very common replacement part is to use an ipod cell instead (1st/2nd generation?). Be aware that its plug has reverted polarity: cables may have to be swapped. iGP-100 takes the same battery. [edit] H10A typical replacement part for H10 players is BP009 with 700 mAh. Battery thickness: 6.8 mm [edit] U10 / clixThe battery is about 4.0 x 28 x 40 mm. Replacement parts are not yet known. The smaller cells for ipod nano may be a suitable and cheap replacement, although providing less battery time. |
