Sony NWZ-A815 - Pleasant surprise!!!

Whilst perusing the Sunday adds a couple of weeks back, I noticed that CC was having a closeout sale on the Sony NWZ-A815 (2GB, black) for $63.00.
Since it looked a little cool and I am a total sucker for players/gagets, I decided for $63.00 I'd pick one up and give it a try.
Boy, was I pleasantly surprised. This baby is one sweet little gem of a player.
First and formost let me say that the SQ is excellant, that by far is the players biggest strength, but not the olny one.
Here are some other pros:
Drop and Drag with Windows OS
Beautiful, vibrant, sharp 2" screen that goes into landscape mode to play pictures and video
Good earbuds - yes good, they are not the usual piece of junk that comes with 99.9 percent of players.
Good battery life - I've clocked mine at about 35 hours for music.
Quick responsive processor, nice, slighly different and uniquely pleasant UI.
All metal, thin, light, easy to use casing and controls.
Lots of EQ choices
The Cons:
No radio
No recorder
Proprietary usb charging cable
Short cord on earbuds
Limited number of supported music formats
No accessories - including cases, unless you pay through the nose to Sony.
A tad on the slippery side, a silicone skin at a reasonable price would be great.
All in all a surprisingly wonderful little player. The sound definately rivlas my H120, and that is saying something. For $63.00 an absolute bargain and a half.

I've been reading the praises for Sony's DAPs, especially since they FINALLY!!!!! dumped SonicStage (or w/e that shite-on-a-program was).

Custom EQ?

From what I heard Sony players have excellent SQ. I would like to pick one of these myself.

I must also give Kudos to my 2GB Sansa Clip, which also has a great SQ, along with custom EQ, FM radio, and voice recording.

Yep, custom EQ w/a nifty little 5 band equalizer.
