I get the same problem. I installed 0.14 and the program refuses to even load up. Verson 0.13r1 works fine, with no problems at all. Very strange.

I'd just like to say that I've had NO problems with iRiverter. Just last night I ripped a Video DVD of "Sin City" into two perfectly stable and well-synced videos. It's the perfect quality, the perfect size... and took about an hour at 30fps. No worries whatsoever.

What a bloody great program.

30 fps???? i assumed H300 plays @ 10 fps ???? or is it for some other application

On my newley formatted XP Pro machine running SP2 with all updates installed. Latest Java and K-Lite Mega Codec Pack:

v0.14 installed and runs with no problems. It converts videos.

BUT, if i try and move these videos to my H320 win explorer crashes. This is just by pressing ctrl+x when they are highlighted, ie: nothing to do with the h320!

I cant play back the vids in iriverter either. they just freeze and keep looping the same part. Any ideas how i can solve this?

Well, it worked fine for me, but now that they play on WMP, I now get a DIVX logo on the screen during playback on the PC. I don't know if that's a new thing, but I think it only shows up on WMP. I don't recall ever seeing that before.

Otherwise, I have no problems converting and playing on H340.

i think he means that was the rate of the video conversion, not the end result

Right!

I installed the version prior to the latest and it works ok now

Bit of a video/audio sync problem, but at least it works

I recomend anyone having problems to try this CLICK

hey hopefully I'll get some help here, I've been using iriverter to rip dvd's, but when I've got to chapter 8 on one of the dvd's and 10 on another when I press convert it doesn't do anythin? Help, I really want to take the video's with me on holiday in a couple of days!

I'm having trouble converting Monk, Season 1, Disk 1. it shows like 5 chapters, but the 1st one is 2 hours. The rest are around 20 seconds. It just came out in one big block. How can I seperate each episode into a different file?

Also is it possible to play the video files on your computer?

Edit:I tried converting it again, it seems to only do the first episode on each disk. There are some files my DAP can seem to play, it says "not support" and then just continues to the next file.

I have the same problem than you. Explorer crashes whenever the pointer pass over those files converted. But if I trnsfer the directory thant contains those converted files to my H340 then I can play them whithout problems whit my iriver.

I´ve read that it is some kind of problem with the divx and sx sp2. You can avoid it by disconnecting a feature that protects the computer. Since it´s a minor problem, easily avoided by transferring the whole directory (just create one new each time) to the iriver we can still enjoy the video support.

Ok, sure, well for converitng season passes, I was just being dumb. There were 3 episodes on on disk. The fist three titles were the episodes. The rest just extra features. You have to select Title 1, convert, then Title 2, convert, till you have all the episodes. I had previously thought that it copying every Title, when you just selected Title 1.

As for playing it on my computer, I just discovered that some work, not all. Now that ones that do work, when I click on their properties while they are playing in WMP 10, they list a vidoe codec. My iRiverter won't convert an avi file. I've downloaded movies in avi format before and they convert fne, but I just downloaded The Devil's Rejects and when I click convert, the converting progress screen comes up, but nothing else, no time left or anything that would make it seem to be converting. Whaty's going on?

problem with iriverter plz help
umm i just got my iriver =D
i downloaded iriverter and it wont run on my comp. im running xp pro on a decent computer but it just wont run clicking and clicking its just not happenin XD

do i need some sort of frame work for iriviter to run?

I'm trying to compile iriverter on linux. But am running into problems while doing ./configure

configure: error: Can't find "javac" in your PATH

I installed the java run time environment according to: http://www.debian-administration.org/articles/142
But the only javac 'locate' or 'find' is in /usr/lib/sablevm/bin/javac. There doesn't appear to be one with the JRE.

What am i missing to make it compile?
