This may be shooting a little high but wouldn't it be great to have a total solution for the H3X0. Something that would convert audio in to MP3 and to manage the Database on the player aswell as converting DVD etc?

1 tool to rule them all!

Kinda thing.

I can guarantee thats not in 0.07. 0.07 will likely come bundled with 0.01 is a clue. And thats all from me.

Firstly thanks for such a great program

I Dont know if this has been suggested but it would be great to be able to have several short videos outputted as one video (provided its not to big). Would this be possible in a future release?

thanks alex

AMP3.co.uk

Its a PMP thus the now support of this device by iRiverter. Still not sure what your going to do with it. I paid €616 for the player. The 20Gb PMP is 600 on the highstreet here in cork. So I am pretty chuffed at my purchase. A brilliant device and price in 1.

how are you converting it. Did you use the latest iRiverter and is mencoder installed? What method did you use to make the error. Check the output file sometimes the prog says failed but it worked out. It seems to err when closing off the file. iRiverter must have all the components installed in the same directory.

jbrandona,

I'm just doing that one

Have had no problem with the rest. This what I have done.

1. Select the DVD Tab

2. Entre he Address of the DVD i.e. D:\

3. Out video the address you want the extracted file to go to.

4. Title Select 4

5 Press Convert.

I'll Let you know if it works for me.

Note you need to have the Disk.

It says on my iRiver," Not support, Skipping" and doesn't play...I've seen people talk about this problem before, and where can i install mencoder? It is not coming off a DVD, i downloaded it from a p2p prog.

jbrandona,
I could be wrong, I'm sure I'll be corrected, but I don't think you can conver a DVD with out the Disk. This could be your problem.

P.s. Get well Soon MSV.

OK Cool, btw the video-audio sync is still slightly off. (Video a bit faster) I'd say it is about .3-.4 second off-sync.

Anyway, best converter ever! I know mplayer is hard to work with but its fast!

Keep up the good work!

Version 0.06 not working

Hello!
You asked if anyone had any problems...well...
Am very glad that someone has written a cross platform program for video conversion that includes us Mac OSX users. I have been downloading and trying to run every newest edition of your program, but none have been successful! The latest one however (0.06), although not coming up with the same errors, still does not work. I can't even convert a single video, unlike a previous version(even though when played on my H340 the video was all garrbled and so was the sound...so I suppose you couldn't call it really a video), or dvd, etc.
Not sure but it might be something to do with Mencoder?? As when I tried running it alone, it looked like this:

Last login: Tue Feb 1 17:49:56 on ttyp1
/var/root/Desktop/iriverter-0.06/mencoder; exit
Welcome to Darwin!
Christos-Computer:~ root# /var/root/Desktop/iriverter-0.06/mencoder; exit
MEncoder dev-CVS-050123-19:55-3.3 (C) 2000-2005 MPlayer Team
Mac OSX static build for ffmpegX
AltiVec found
CPU: PowerPC
File not found: 'frameno.avi'
Failed to open frameno.avi
No file given

Exiting... (error parsing cmdline)
logout
[Process completed]

Would be grateful for any input or ideas on all this, as I have been dying to convert my music videos to watch on my H300. Please keep up the good work, once this program is polished off, alot of people will appreciate this program.
Many thanks,
Christo

Hey, yeah, i also have a bug, i dont know if its been posted, but i dont have time to look through the 300 some replies...
anyway, the last few times ive ran the app, its worked fine, except when i hit "DVD" it would not only have a long pause, it would lock up, task manager would say its running, but it wasnt, the only way to fix it was to restart the computer...
any help would be apricated, but i can work through it.

On some systems it freezes leave it for a few minutes if required. Also if the DVD is in the drive remove it if not put it in it gets fussy sometimes. But still by far the best for sync.
