vDub message "not supported. Microsoft owns patent # on the asf file format"

Q: I get the message "not supported. Microsoft owns patent # on the asf file format" in vDub.

A: This is simply a fact that vDubs creators had to stop supporting the asf format as it breached copyright of microsoft. The only way around this is to simply download version 1.3c of vDub available for free online http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=virtua ldub

After V1.3 the program stopped supporting it as they would of been brought to court by microsoft.
