Darky's Build For H300
I have started compiling my own Rockbox build for the iRiver H300.
New builds every week or so depending on SVN changes and my free time.

Dark - is there any way to get:

- one-click insert
- shows playlist when you press REC

back in. I've tried recent daily builds as I do have some WMA files, but I miss the above too much.

Sorry I don't know the patch numbers off-hand but I can research if you don't have them.

This ability is in my build in the recording button config patch
Using the record button you can insert with one click and this same patch allows you to view the playlist with the record button.
You can edit theses settings from the main menu by entering Settings --> General Settings --> System --> Button Config

I would love to provide the source but at the moment I have a 20mb webspace limit and very limited bandwidth which makes it impossible to host the source code. The best I can do is post the patches I use?

If anyone is experiencing problems with mpegplayer (video) crashing with an error of "*panic* stkov main" try adding this (right click, save as) file to "/.rockbox/rocks/mpegplayer.cfg". Your milage may vary.

That patch needs to be synced to SVN, sadly I do not have the expertise to do so although if anyone syncs it I would like to include it in my build.

Theres one patch I miss dearly. Its like, you can set the backlight to come on for certain things. Like if you press the NAVI button then it'll come on but won't go to the menu or anything. Its like you can set each button to do certain things. I've no idea the name of the patch, can someone fill me in on that?

The patch you are after is the backlight_filter patch, more information in the above post.

Kezza: I have tried uploading my source code to your server but it fails, no error or anything it just reloads the directory page. My thoughts are that it is timing out (36mb file + 128kb/s upload = long time!) Is there any way around this? And i was also wondering if there is a way to provide directory listings? As this is the easiest thing to do with patches, source etc as the listings update instantly

there might be, but first what is the file extension? is it a text file?

as for the source stuff will get on to that, theres something in the PHP script that stops you uploading really big stuff, I added it for guests but seems to be on your account to, give me a day to run though the script.

I tried your fix for the Panic Stkov Main error message and am still getting that whenever i try and play a converted file, any other suggestions?

I had trouble with that fix initially, but after a while it just started working, I think it was when I updated builds.
