Album Cover Art Downloader- comp. issue

I'm having issues with both Album Cover Art Downloader & AlbumArtAggretar. I'm pretty sure this is a computer problem, but I'm unsure as to how and resolve it. I'm running XP sp2 (I've yet to try these in linux).

When attempting to get album art in A.C.A.D. I get this error message:

Downloading cover images was interrupted by the following exception:
IO Error: [Errno socket error] (10050, 'Network is down')

Here's the traceback:

In AlbumArtAggregator I get this message when I attempt to get albums:

here's the log file for that:

Maybe if it was only one of these programs acting up, I'd believe it was a software issue but both, no way. I use "bitdefender" as my a system security, but I've also tried shutting it down and running these programs, but it made no difference. Is this a router issue? I'm using a LinkSys WRT300N Wireless-N router. Is there a specific port that these programs both use that I need to open up?

I did see some comments others had posted on there site with these same error logs, but no one had responded to them. Any suggestions would help. Thanks
