Is H3xx V1.31K stable in Rockbox?

I haven't yet converted over to Rockbox - I want to but it looks a bit daunting.

I've just upgraded my firmware from v1.29EU to v1.31K because you can play the minesweeper game amongst other things.

If I finally take the leap and load up Rockbox, will this version be stable or should I go back down to v1.29EU.

Does Rockbox play video now?

1.31 is not compatible with the rockbox bootloader so you will have to downgrade to 1.29 to try rockbox out. It can look a bit daunting at first but a bit of reading around helps alot and once you start using rockbox things get easier quite quickly.

Rockbox has basic video support but its not realy useful at the moment.

I've now downgraded to v1.29K.

Is that the best version or should I use v1.29Eu or any other version.

The Rockbox site does not say that it supports v1.29Eu but it does about v1.29K.

Is there any real difference between the two apart from the Korean language?

Very little difference at all. You are fine to use any regional variation of the 1.29 firmware.

Basically, any version of 1.29 should do it. If your settings in the stock firmware mess up (brightness bug etc.) regularly, try 1.29J.
