Video not working when booting into original firmware

I have tried booting back into the orginal OS on both v.129 and v.1.31 and the videos display on neither. The video folder simply appears empty. Is there a different way to access them now?

You need to press and hold REC, and scroll right across to Video. Then browse to the MOVIES (or video) folder, and select them from there.

joycetick: this was introduced in v.1.29.

OK thanks, just added 1.29 with rockbox.

Thanks.

Just to confirm, video is only in the original firmware, right?

rockbox shows mpeg2 videos too - unlike the xvid(mpeg4) that original firmware does.

I have a sample mpeg2 video that rockbox can play... you can grab it here if you want:

http://triplej.no-ip.info/plane.m2v

I encoded it using VLC and instructions i found in a misticriver thread somewhere.
