cr2 suport build

can someone build me a rockbox that will suport cr2 (raw) file for canon 400d camera.

That's not a thing you can do in 5 minutes... We don't even have a plugin for cr2 files. I don't think that anybody is working on a raw viewer and honestly I don't think that someone will be in the near future. There are other more important things to do, for example jpeg albumart.
But if there's someone willing to do it, why not. Everybody can code a cr2 plugin, for example you...

Lile matx said, it would be perfectly possible to code a plugin/viewer to view RAW files, but it would take quite a while for the player to process a RAW file and display it on screen. Also, apparantly CR2 is a Canon proprietory format with encryption, which would add some level of complexity to the plugin.

However, IIRC some RAW files contain jpg thumbnails, so it could be possible to display those onscreen instead.

I'm no programmer, but posting a feature-request over on the Rockbox site could get some interest.

thank you all , i will post on rockbox.

i know that the 340 with the irever operating sistem had some ability to show and copy the raw file , thw cr2 its the new raw file for canon digital cameras.
i have the 320 and when i conect the 400d camera my player dont recognize
the camera.
i thougth that with the roxbox operating sistem i can copy the jpg and the raw files to the player.

usb on the go doesn't work with rockbox, actually the chip is disabled for battery saving.

sorry for all these bad news, i hope i can tell you some good news next time
