Scanning disk each time i turn on
Hi I am using the norbu's latest build. I have had no problems so far with his builds.
Just that this time i get a message scanning disk each time i turn it on. Even after the filetree appears the disk spins for 5 min or so. I have turned on the directory cache. tag cache load to ram -on auto update tag cache -on what am i doing wrong PLS help Last edited by vamsimohan_6 : October 20th, 2006 at 07:37 PM. |

from your settings it seems that you do use Tag Cache. Rather, that it is set up, whether you use it or not. the Auto Update = ON setting is the one that would cause scanning at boot, I think.
