hi guys!
im just a new rockbox convert and i just like to consult a few problems that i have encountered. i loaded a .gb and .gbc files to my player trying to use the the rockboy plugin however,as i check the files in the rockbox firmware, the file is not recognized there.and when i go back to the normal 1.29j firmware the files are seen in the file browser.so, how can I have it recognized in rocbox to be opened with the rockboy plugin??do I have to create another directory in the .rockbox folder?? 2nd problem: i tried to load the doom plugin that is already preloaded on this rockbox version..i always get the missing .wad error.so i consulted the rockbox manual and seemed that i have to create another directory in the .rockbox folder which I did creating the games folder, addons, and extracting the zip file that i downloaded from the freedoom site that contains the .wad file.gave it another try and still no go..so how can I make it work?? Thank you very much for all your inputs in advance!!!! |

Yeah, thats a problem I share in...The Doom one, that is.
If anyone could post a solution, it'd cause two grateful newbies. I've followed the instructions to the letter, and it still can't find the .wad files (for Doom 2 or the shareware Doom). I've also been over most of the instructions on the forum.

Then you should be able to "play" the .gb and .gbc files, just like audio files. |
