Guys, I'm still alive!
I'm back in Saudi for good now. I brought my PC back with me from China, but only the internal parts minus the case and power supply. I'm currently preparing to start a new job. I'll definately work on this in the near future, but I need to get my machine and DSL connection setup first. Thanks for not loosing interest. I hope you can wait for a bit longer

Knightbox 5.0

Hello saab_rider,

I love your great Knightbox themes and have modified them slightly, so now either you see Cover Art (if there is one present) or you see KITT's voicebox. I also removed the CD case for several reasons.

Maybe it will please you, too.

I called it simply Knightbox 5.0 because in my opinion it combines the advantages of version 3 and 4.

Looking forward to your opinion

Lookin' good glasladen. I'm not big in the album art, but it's nice that we have dual capabilities.

Wow... I'm thrilled that my work inspired you! I've always encourged people to change my WPS to better suite their needs! I'm glad that you did exactly that, and also shared it with everybody! Your "hybrid" version is actually one of the modifications which i wanted to do my self. I was keeping it for the re-vamped version with the newer graphics. Great job!

Thanks for asking Modern Exec! Contrary to popular beleif, I am still around! As I mentioned before, I'm back home and I started my new job in August. At home, I had my DSL connection installed but it's VERY unstable. For some reason it drops every now and then, and reconnects when I make a phone call! I tried to have the phone company fix it, but it might be a problem with the wiring.

I also don't have a desktop yet... I've been short on money to get me a case/power supply/monitor etc to salvage the PC I brought back from China.. Currently we only have my wife's laptop, and it has so many viruses, it's not funny!

I tried to access misticriver from work, but they block most forums including MR

I was blessed with a second son earlier this month (on our wedding anniversary out of all days!). And to top it off, I'm moving from the east coast to the west coast in December, and I haven't started to look for a place there!

However I do plan to get my PC before year end (fingers crossed!). I don't know however how soon I'll be able to get a DSL connection after I move to Jeddah (the city in the west coast).

I apologise for all these delays, but I'm sure at least some of you would undestand what I'm going through!

Very impressive! Can you make some Knight Rider Themes for the Sansa e200 Rockbox, but using the fonts used in the Ultima v1.0 WPS? And instead of an empty CD Case when there's no album art, why not use something KITT-related?

Hello, saab_rider. I realy like your WPS. For me it is favourite. But now I use norbus multibuild and your WPS doesn't work. Could you do me a favour and make it work on norbus?Thanks in advance

I wouldn't hold your breath there, unrealliving. SAAB Rider's profile states he's currently in Beijing, and he hasn't logged in in almost 4 months. At this point, if you want to make the WPS compatible with other builds, consider reading the stickies about WPS programming and making the changes yourself. I did that to make KnightBox compatible with the h300 experimental build.

Hi, I liked the Knightbox so much I decided to make it for the Sansa (know you guys are iriver lovers, but give me a chance

) I was just wondering... in the ".wps" file there is a line

I search the rockbox wps thread HERE but couldn't find any info on the "%m" part of it.

The reason I ask is I have a sansa simulator that runs on my computer and the text confining code works on there... but on my sansa it doesn't, it just scrolls the whole screen. Is there another site where I might get rockbox wps codes?

P.S. the sansa is 176x220 and I did change the line to read
