H340 Doesn't seem to switch off?
Hi all,
Have upgraded my H340 to ROckbox (not the latest optimized build though - about to do that) but have noticed that if I shut down and leave my little box for a few days, all the battery charge seems to disappear... ANyone else having this problem? Anyone got any ideas what's happening? Cheers Iain |

are you using a suitable charger to charge your h340?

there might be a fault in your battery, or maybe your leaving your h340 running even though its off. i mean so that the backlight is just of not the whole player. try removing rockbox from your player and see if the problem still occurs.

You need to make sure you're actually turning the unit off, and that is says "Shutting down..." when you've held stop long enough. Then, put the hold switch on just to be sure, if that's your style. I've never noticed this problem with my iRiver. Last week, I charged it up fully, then didn't use it for 3 or so days, and when it booted up, it was still at 100% power.

This has absolutely nothing to do with Rockbox. As previously stated by some others, it is either a battery or some other faulty component in your player.

Hi all,
No - the problem did not occur before upgrading to Rockbox. Yes - I always make sure it is "shutting down". I will try removing Rockbox and seeing if the problem continues... Thanks all for your help! Iain |
