Browsing WPSs

With the advent of 24-bit WPSs, I've split up my WPS collection into folders, so that I can easilly choose between flashy ones for day time, and the old 1-bit ones for night, when I want the screen as dark as possible.

Would it be easy for someone to let us optionally browse sub-folders of the WPS folder through the settings menu?

Or quicker for me to pick up a book on c and start learning how to do it myself? Might take a year or two, but I'd get there eventually (I do have some programming experience in QBASIC and server-side scripting, but I'm on a full-time degree course in another subject, plus language lessons - doesn't leave much time for playing with code )

If there are a couple that you regularly use, prefix their names with "aa" so they appear at the top of the list?

Only a workaround, but it does work

I went through the wps folder and deleted the ones I don't like so my list of wps is smaller.

You can place your favorite wps files in different folders. Then you can navigate through all your files and subfolders like you browse through your mp3 files.

But I'm really interested in a WPS viewer in Windows to sort my growing list of WPS.

Anybody knows such a viewer?

The rockbox simulator? I'll post a linky in a sec...

You have to compile it yourself, but there's a compiled version here.

Yes, that's what I do at the moment. But it's a heck of a lot of extra key-presses, and very annoying if I'm doing something attention intensive like cooking
