Please Help: "Error accessing playlist control file"

I am using the latest Rockbox optimized but when I select my music file and click on a song to play I get the message "Error accessing playlist control files". Can anyone help me with this.

Thank you

Is the music in WMA format? If it is your music will not play in Rockbox.

I changed your thread title to something more descriptive to increase the chance that you will get a helpful response. In the meantime, try searching for "playlist control file," and similar terms. I know that this issue has come up before and that solutions have been suggested.

I had the same thing happen to me the first time I booted with the optimized H300 build. I don't know how I got through it but I haven't had the error ever since the first time. I do have a few wma files on my H340 so that may have been the cause.

Happens to me all the time. Seems to just go in and out, I don't know if I have any effect on it, but it happens at least half the time. There are no .wma's on my player.
