.BMP Splash Screen Question

Hey guys!
I've recently noticed while using .rocks such as Tetrox (by eli) that .bmp splash screens have been displayed. Would it be possible to make a program that allows a user to drag-and-drop .bmps and output as a rock?

If this is a stupid question you can choose to slap me or point out my error.

i think eli is working on something,
i think the problem with just using the code that is there is that it will only accept specific bmps (size and color settings)

You can view bmps in Rockpaint I think. Instuctions are on the plugbox site.
I think Eli is working on ViewBox

My calendar opens to 2041, but I think that's to do with rockbox. If I go into the time and date settings it gets the day right but the year way off. If I correct the year the day is wrong.

the bug is with the rockbox<->iriver RTC, iriver and rockbox think that the dates are 35 years out (rb thinks it is 2041 iriver thinks it is 2006)

It is actually a bug in the iriver RTC driver. They use it in a way not intended by the manufacturer.

If I'm not mistaken, the bmp images arent embedded in the .rock file, but merely the tetrox.rock file links to a folder with the bmps and displays them. Want to test it out? go into the tetrox folder and edit the bitmaps there (just draw on them, dont resize or anything crazy like that). The splash screen will reflect your changes.
