LAB DESIGN :i know that you can convert them, but it would be easier and faster if there was a pdf reader.

I understand that PDF is an "open" format. Adobe publish the details of how files are encoded, which is why there are many third-party utilities to write PDFs.

The basic issue is that PDFs usually represent an A4- or Letter-sized page, and there's no real way to separate the text from the page headings & footings. That text would need to be re-flowed to show on the available screen. Also issues about what to do with any graphics in the PDF.

cheers, Martin

display of PDF files is impossible on tiny, low resolution screens because of what MartinP mentioned.
even PDAs barely do that, you need to zoom at one part at a time... scroll to the sides, annoying. thing is, you can't resize a PDF file, it's closed for editing, and it's page size is set.

I was giving you another option.

The other answer is: NO!

I've no idea what you do or don't know.

A pocket PC or a PALM PDA can do this. This may be your only solution.
