Some Questions
Ok just got my MP3 back. (h320 US) I flashed it to 1.29k, and read up about formatting videos. (I am aware I lost DRM, i but the cds online.)
Question 1: I put all the rockbox stuff in my root folder, yet it doesnt work. Why? Question 2: I have the 1.28 firmware, and formmatted the video correctly with virtualdub and all that stuff, yet i cant veiw it on my mp3. Why? Please dont direct me to search again, becasue I did search and found nothing too interesting. Thanks for the help.

I will try to help on number 2. There could be numerous errors that could have occured. If all the settings were right, maybe the video is over the time/file size limit (this is around 1 hour). I would highly suggest using Iriverter instead of virtualdub because it is a much more simple program that converts videos. Hope that helps.

you have to download the firmware patcher (its hard to find, but here it is) and patch the firmware. After that you can use it with the files in the root of the player (daily builds)
use at your own risk (the usual routine, i think its pretty safe)

did you install the bootloader?
on the RB site, go to 'wiki' and on that page, 'iriverboot.' you use the fwpatcher.exe to add the bootloader to an official iriver firmware, then flash that on the player. once done, have both the .rockbox folder and rockbox.iriver file in the root of the player and it should work. -EGO

no with the second question he ment number 1 (because the other one got answered by using iriverter!!!) Question 1 should be answered when he uses the firmware patcher and copies that file tot his h320 and runs a F/W upgrade.
