What the hell?

I've bin away for a while thought i would pay a visit back to the forum and to my amazement Rockbox is up and running! Thing is though I am so far behind I don't know were to start, I have a EU H340 so will the current Rockbox be Ok on that as it was designed using a US want it?
Also i've got a simulator so i could see it in action before putting it on my H340 but keeping getting a message that 'header & checksum test failed' along with 'failed opening database' and can't get the simulation to do anything, so can anyone help us out with this?

And is there any plugins people advise getting for a Rockbox'd H3X0? Rockboy for instance?

Sorry if these questions have been asked but i've tried to find the info but can't get the basics so i can understand half of it!

Well Rockbox will work on yours and i wold check out some apps from eli_sherer and by the way rockboy is built into rockbox but isnt optimised yet
