all of you that talking about screen savers and floating song title
i think this is not possible cause the thing is that the iriver has n idle mode which in it works in 11Mhz instead of 45MHz so things might be different about dim lcd it's already possible cause the black screen isn't really black you can see the screen but it's really dark just squeeze your eyes and see!

best extra features
for me, the most appreciated features would be AM radio support and - SWEET - an application that allows usb connection of a gps reciever.
hell, a gba can run it - see redsky mobile - so why wouldn't a h300 be able to? |

GPS Support (via the USB Host) would be a nifty feature, though ... |

Keep on requesting all this nifty features, really! But isn't it a good idea to think of features that can be made in a short time period? I mean less complex things we already know they are usefull and capable to be made.
There are some features that are compatible with rockbox, but not with Iriver. Examples: - A clock - An alarm - A wake up alarm - mp3 splitter Personally i'd like a PDF viewer and MS office doc's (doc, ppt, xls) viewer, but i think these features are also only to dream of. I'd also like a simple html-browser (easy for reading the rockbox wiki on your own rockbox device!) There are some C/C++ written PDF viewers aren't there? (XPDF for example) is it possible to port them to RB? an html-viewer are also written in C(++)? |
