Wow are those really forum rules? I find it sad how the traditional meaning, in which I believe, is on its way on being wiped out of the books in order to be politcally and socially "correct."

That does look kinda neat though would probably get old to look at after a while

Also another thing: PNG is your friend for 2 colour screenshots like that. It'll be smaller than the JPEG file with no compression artifacts (being lossless and such).

I object to this. It was 45 degrees here yesterday. it's not a "winter" holiday at all. World is round and all that.

Kingnog- I was just quoting a great song, and the idea of Winter Holidays does seem a bit odd considering that there is such a large mistic contingent from the southern hemisphere. All I will say is that at least I waited till December!! (1 of my pet hates)

All I did was find the bit in the source code where you define Foreground and Background colours. This means that it changes everything including the menus. This means for any change virtually the whole thing has to be recompiled. My computing skills aren’t that good as to ad it to the wps (though I will try at some point) and as for 02keiljs suggestion of gradients, well that is way beyond anything I can do.

DT, yes I think it might get old real fast so I have stored another version of Rockbox in another folder so I can change it back to Black and Rockbox blue OTF.

lol, yes I was just kidding. It pisses me off how everything has to be so politically correct (example: my school can't say christmas break). We had a "Winter Holiday" dinner yesterday, with no christmas decorations...it was pretty sad, really. And yes, it's winter here, there's snow on the ground, lol.

I don't get it though, it's a christian holiday! Why aren't we who value Christmas for it's original reasons allowed to celebrate it in a largely christian population. Last year they banned any public nativity scenes in Melbourne, but thankfully this year they haven't. Surely we wouldn't ban other religions in Melbourne of outwardly celebrating they're religious holidays.

When you mod the source it needs to be compiled. (the whole thing)

When rockbox is further down the line, you wont need to skin it at all, you should just have to change some settings in the menus and it could do it for you, however, this was just me being impatint and messing around.
