A few q's about bitmaps and WPS's.
I'm looking to make a certain WPS, and need a few things clarified.
1.Bitmaps. What is the easiest way to make one? I think I read that they had to have one colour per pixel, so can I just make any black and white image in paint? 2.X and Y. i)When placing bmps on the WPS, you need to specify the X and Y coordinates. Does it work like VB does, where (0,0) is the top left hand corner? Or is (0,0) the middle of the screen, meaning you can have negative values? ii)What part of the image will be on the coordinates? The exact middle or one of the corners. If I want and image to take up the entire screen do I type (0,0) or whatever the middle of the screen would be. iii)What are the limits of the screen? What are the coordinates of the bottom right hand corner?(assuming that (0,0) is the top right.) I think that's about it, hope it makes sense and thanks for any help. |

1. yes
2. like VB, (0,0) is the top left corner 3. if you want an image that's 20 pixels wide to touch the edge of the right side, the x coordinate would be 150. if you wanted that image to be 5 pixels down from the top, the y coordinate would be 5. 4. screen is 160x128

Alright, so if I make a bmp that will take up the whole screen do I make it 160x128 pixels, or 220x176 pixels? And, what coordinates do I set so that it takes up the whole screen? 0,0 or whatever the middle of the screen would be?

Well I finnaly managed to finish the background picture after lot's of stuffing around, but when I tested it it on the iriver, with just the background.mbp as the WPS, it was inverted. Does anyone know how to fix this?
