Is it possible to patch a modded firmware with rockbox? when I try, it says 'unrecognized firmware' and won't let me...anyone know?

when i click on the link i get this error

That's been very helpful, Sanitarium. However, I would now like to know if you could point me in the right direction as to how to safely upgrade an existing RB to later builds - preferably the latest Optimized build. Any clues? There is so much info out there I am having trouble locating what I need!

H340 1.29J non-US, RBv5 bootloader.

to download the daily build, you go to rockbox.org > dailybuilds and under the picture of the H300 click the link that says latest.

to download the optimised build go to the optimised build anouncments thread ant on the first post should be a link to the latest version along with all the extra fetures.

Once you have one of these builds, place the .rockbox folder and rockbox.iriver files onto the root of your player. Unplug, reboot if nesesery and thats all folks
