Is there any way to...

Play subdirectories in one go, like the standard FW?
Eg.
I have a 2 disc album, so I play disc 1. When it finishes, the music just stops and doesn't go to the next disc.

Also, I'd like to suggest an idea for the Rockbox devs about how the backlight functions. When you press play/pause/FF etc. in the iRiver FW, it first turns on the screen, then you have to press the same button again. In Rockbox if you press play it'll pause the song, same for stop (except it will stop the song instead) straight away and when you press NAVI it goes into the file tree mode.In the iRiver FW, when you're in file tree mode you can press stop to go to the now playing screen. Is there any way to make Rockbox act like the iRiver firmware?

General settings --> Playback --> Auto change directory --> Yes.

As far as the backlight, so far, Linus is the only developer working on this port, and he said yesterday that he has not gotten around to optimizing the backlight. I think that there are many many areas that are a higher priority for him than the niceties of how the backlight works, and rightfully so. In the meantime, press the record button to turn on the backlight. It's not mapped to anything and so you can use it to turn on the backlight without affecting anything else.
