What is rombox.iriver in latest builds?

Hi all,

I updated Rockbox with a daily build today. Weird thing is, I never knew that rockbox.iriver would start if placed in the .rockbox folder, I assumed it needed to be in the root folder.

Also, there is a file named rombox.iriver in the folder .rockbox, does anyone know what this one does?

TIA!

Rombox.iriver is a specially linked file used in the process of flashing Rockbox to be run from flash instead of from the disk.

Aaaah, ooooh, sounds good!
I don't think I'll need it though, I like updating my buids regularly and am too lazy to flash each time
Thanks!
