Bug with recording? (File split timer)

I cannot get my H120 to split a file or stop recording based on a time limit.
Recording continues without any indication the limit has been broken other than the elapsed time at the top of the screen.
Filesize limiting works.

Is this a known issue or am I doing something wrong?

just tried to record something this week and I ran into the same problem.
ended up with a 1.3gb file that was hard to work with!
