Download a Rockbox build and unzip it to the root directory of your player. This should create the .rockbox folder without you having to do anything.

Double click on the .zip file. Whatever unzip program you have on your computer (most likely Winzip) will start. You'll have an option to "extract" files. Extract all files to whatever drive your player is. So, for example, if your player is drive e:, tell your unzip program to extract all files to "e:\" (without the quotes).

Or, you can right click drag and drop. Simply right click on the archived file, then drag it to the location you ned to unzip it to. If you use a left handed mouse this will be done with the left mouse button instead.
