Boots up to recording screen
This is my first post and I am still learning so bear with me.
I bought my Hp-120 because it had recording features and was firmware upgradable, but i never expected the bonus of having a crack team of software specialists working on new features all the time! So my question: Last night i tried to record a show (the soundman decided at the last minute not to give us a board patch, so that didn't work out), but before that i was mucking around trying to figure out how to record. I got to the recording page and selected recording screen, but the screen was blank. From reading a previous post, i believe that this was because i didn't actually have a source hooked up yet. right? ok, fine. But by mucking around i got the screen to come up when i selected .rockbox from the boot up menu. it said "loading rolo" and then there it was. so i set up to record and got the levels and stuff before the plug got pulled. but now every time i boot up, it goes to the recording screen instead of the file menu. this bums me out because i just got an iriver transmitter for my car that turns on and off automatically, so that right before i start my car, i turn on the iriver and it starts palying right away, without the hiss of an empty radio station or anything. but now the auto play is not working sorry for the long post. i am not very good with the techno-jargon. |
