Any decent games for RockBoy?

(Already posted at forums.rockbox.org)

Anybody got any tips about Gameboy games that are worthwhile playing with RockBoy on H1x0?

Scrabble seems quite good, and the "Game&Watch"-packs are really fun in a very retro/nostalgic way.
Chessmaster, if I could work out a way to see the difference between blk & wht...

What more?

Some puzzles should work, but please tell me so I don't have to try them all myself...
Old style adventures?

Well I'd like to see Mahjong.. Though it would be hard to play on a small screen and no mouse.

As for game&watch, I have 18 real game&watches

will rockbox get better concerning the display and the movement?

Unless they add in the things for the future to work on they mentioned and optimise much code there isn't much chance of playing anything effectively. The most 'effective' game at the moment is Tetris difficulty 9 or was it 10 (or use the cheat for +10 difficulty lvls), which forces it to be equivalent to Tetris ~ difficulty 2 probably in speed, though once you start clearing lines the lines will flash for what seems like years and then finally disappear, you can cut this down by leaving a column down the middle for 1x4 lines to drop though. My GBA SP doesn't take up much space in my coat pocket if I want some *real* on the go gaming...

It's not a software thing... it's the screen response time. The pixels can't change from white to black fast enough so you get blur and all sorts of stuff.

You shure?
I've read elsewhere that the RockBoy code could need some optimizing, but that the guy who made it has quit...

It's not all the screen, but all the optimizing in the world won't make that screen stop bluring. It'll get better for sure but the response time on that screen is pretty bad.

Pkemon and zelda arent bad. Pretty simple games not much speed to them. Pokemon sorta sucks in the battles though. Its the best they got right now.

Tetris DX works pretty nicely, but setting it to the highest level is the best you can do for a good game.
