Question Rockbox forums currently down?
Hi,

I can't reach www.rockbox.org since a few hours now.
Is it just my connection or is this from everywhere ?

Trouble accessing Rockbox forums
Hi,

Is anyone else having trouble getting to the forums on the www.rockbox.org? I can't connect to them at all (although the main site is OK). I'm in the UK, if that makes any difference...

It was a local problem with my provider at that day - I totally forgot to answer here...

But since a few days (I think it was saturday) forums.rockbox.org is down!
Does anybody know what happened and when it will be up again???

Yes, I noticed this on Sunday and the site is still down. According to the IRC the rockbox forum is hosted by misticriver (it was down too) but I do not have any other news

not working for me either...hasn't been since Saturday.

Australia...two different locations (home & work), firefox 1.5 and IE6

Similar thing happened to a website of mine a while back. It ended up being an incorrect dns entry somewhere in the domain registration or something. Some people could get to the site fine...others couldn't.

The provider of the forum server had changed the IP address while Jeff was on vacation. Thus, we at rockbox.org weren't notified so we could update the DNS. I updated it yesterday, so it should work fine by now.

That would explane why mistic river wend down for a short while but came back the same night
