Remote can't bootup Rockbox with main HOLD on / remote HOLD off

I installed Rockbox 12-09-05 daily build. It worked fine except for two items. One I believe is known is the low battery hang booting up. The second is that the LCD remote cannot power on the Iriver H120 when the main body hold is ON even if the LCD remote hold is OFF. This apparently occurs in the Rockbox boot loader because the problem occurs even with all of the Rockbox stuff deleted.

The problem disappeared when I flashed the original 1.66 firmware. I mostly use the remote, so I keep the main hold switch on.

Thanks for the link. I had searched the bug forum and found nothing about this.

Holding down the play button for four seconds solves the problem.
