Red face I'm probably doing something wrong...
I just can't seem to access the main menu (bookmarks, sound settings etc) from the remote. The build is today's but I've been having problems for a week or so.

Isn't it just a long press of NAVI/MENU? Short press is fine for moving through directory structure.

don't feel bad...
i once started to panic when i thought my player was bricked
i hit the reset button, deleted rockbox, formatted everything just to find out the my hold switch was on ;x

we're all dumb when we don't think =)
