Hmm. When I hover over a track and press down the joystick, I get the following menu:
Playlist Rename Delete Open with Create Directory If I enter "Playlist", it just says Insert. If I click that, it starts playing the track. Confused. Ideally, I'd like it if there were a 'create playlist' option. You click that, then you go along selecting tracks from each album on your DAP. Each time you click on a song it justs adds it to you list, then when you press play it plays your playlist in order. |

Insert Insert next Insert last Insert shuffled Queue Queue next Queue last Once you have added all the tracks you want in your playlist, press the A-B button on the side and select "Playlist Options" you have the options to "View Current Playlist" and "Save Current Playlist". At the moment I'm not sure what the difference is between the "Insert" and "Queue" options as they Both add that track into the current playlist. Still lots of options to investigate Russell |

Additionally in the playlist menu you can move songs around, delete, etc....

I flashed in early June and was hooked, but there was tons still unimplemented, crashes were frequent, things were buggy. I've done two updates since then, the last with the July 20th firmware, and the progress has been amazing. I love it now, and when recording is done -- wow.

I was a little "stand-offish" at first but once I did my homework I realized is would be a good decision. I'll never go back!!

WMA is not supported by Rockbox. Check out the Rockbox website. Basically because its a crap DRM infested codec which isnt open source and contradicts what the Rockbox project is about.

Notice that the thread is quite old (July 20th, 2005). At that time, you could not flash Rockbox (removing original firmware, too)
