OGG Q10 Files Still skips
I read in one of the daily builds this was fixed, but I have a few OGG Q10 files that still skip and they display a bitrate of greater than 500 (505 etc) on the screen of my H140 player. These same files work fine with the iRiver firmware and only display a bitrate of 499. Any Comments or suggestions.
ROCKbox is on top of things. Todays build (June 29) indicated it took care of some skipping issues, it works ! Good job ROCKbox Last edited by jukeboxjimmy : June 29th, 2005 at 11:22 AM. |

499 is the nominal bitrate for -q10. What are the actual average bitrates for the files in question?

All lossless including FLAC is VBR by nature and averages around 900-1000kbps for non classical music like kramerica said. Classical tends to be in the 500-700 range
