New Theme for Mono's build: HardRain

Hi all,

I'm just working on a new theme for Mono's build.

I'm sorry for giving only an impression of the WPS screen but the simulator's still based on Angry's last theme. And there are some differences with the Custom list position.
It's only possible to show you the backdrop of the menu screen...

Thanks to my wife. She gave me some hints gving more information to rockbox newbies.
As a result my theme shows the use of the player buttons in grey.

The HOLD button is used as INFO button - just to leave the main WPS screen more clean.
So when Album Art is available only the track title is shown. Using the HOLD/INFO button shows album title, Artist, bitrate and type of file.
When Album Art is NOT available this INFO screen will be displayed instead.

The battery indicator has 15 levels giving much more detailed information than in my earlier themes, the volume indicator has 10 levels.

It's absolutely necessary using Mono's build otherwise you will get some weird effects.

Kown bugs are:
1) Displaying the text rows in the menu screen is too long. That's a bug in the custom line position patch. (Bug has gone with Mono's build 18.11.2007)
2) And for the users of the plugins without own backdrop screen: you will have the menu backdrop instead of the black one. I'm not using any plugin. So no problem for me.

I'm testing some features now but it seems to be ok for now.
Try it and give feedback, please.

Looks pretty nice actually. I would recommend to add maybe a little more graphics to the area's behind the tags, so it looks a little nicer. It looks great though. Thanks!!

That's a *very* nice theme you've got there. Looks pretty functional

While I will not use it (I grew tired of generating bitmaps for my albums) I must say it's one of the best out here and you made good use of the small H10 screen. Bravo

I like it. I'll be sure to test any newer builds with it so that I don't break compatibility - it's the least I can do to support the first person to design something for my build!

Wow - thanks for the real nice feedback.
Glad to see my theme seems to work for you .

@Mono:
Whenever you'll forced to have some changes in the WPS than give me a hint and I'll do it as quickly as I can.

Thumbs up

Thanks to Mono.

Done some small changes:
- Repositioning of some misfitting text and graphics
- Fixed a Bug in the info screen showing album art fragments when the id3 tag contains nothing

It's for the 5GB.
If you like to have a version for the 20 GB I have to use the (old) simulator and do some adaptions.
Any demands?

I use a 20gb H10, and really like how this theme looks. Not too cluttered at all.

Maybe have the Next part alternate between currently playing title and next playing one?

If it's your wish I will do my best.
It would be helpful having a new simulator. But Mono seems to have it in the works.

BTW: it is alternating from just playing to next playing.

Ok, thanks. Really like the clean bright look of it. Can imagine it goes well with a blue shell. Dont rush just on my account.

Couldnt tell about the current/next in the photos.
