Question gif file for backdrop?
can anyone tell me if there is a way to use gif file as a back drop?

No. If you're trying to get an animated backdrop, sorry, there is no way (Currently) of achieving that. If you're just trying to use a picture in .gif format (*Shudders*) as a backdrop, just open it in paint and save it as a .bmp.
