Question Is H10 Rockbox as good as H3XX Rockbox?

If someone has rockbox on an H3XX and H10 could you tell me how they compare? I have a H340 with rockbox and I am thinking about putting rockbox on my sister's H10. Is it worth rockboxing the H10 yet? and how does rockbox affect the battery life?

Thanks aussie

Battery life is slightly less for the H10. The radio and line-in recording aren't working yet, and we only have one person making patched builds (Angryman's thread).

Basically the H10 port suffers from the same primary problems as the iPod ports:

The battery life is poorer than it should be, the processor has performance issues (music may skip if played under demanding circumstances such as using most/all bands in the equalizer).

As well as has been previously mentioned, not all the hardware has drivers yet.

Nor does Rockbox have its own USB mode, I believe.

I thought the codec re-writes using the kernel of COP (when it is patched in) means that we can use the equalizer without skipping but the GUI can crawl to a stop.

For USB mode (thanks, I forgot about that), you have to hold down the O button when plugging it in, and hold it until your see "Emergency Connect" on the upper left hand corner (this boots it in UMS mode, aka. UMS trick).
