Is there a way to allow to original(iriver) firmware to shutdown propery
(instead of reset)... when using the dual boot feature? That would be a great help if you could. Thanks |

Nah, it wouldn't aslong as the bootloader in the flash memory was untouched. It's more a case of the OF being closed source and therefore not easy to modify. And I don't know of anyone who's actually tried

If you go to the Rockbox site and download the manual for H10 it tell you what to do.
3.1.3. Starting the original firmware Rockbox has a dual-boot feature. It loads the original firmware from the file /System/OF.mi4. To boot into the original firmware, press and hold the Cancel button while turning on the player. Note: The iriver firmware doesn’t shut down properly when you turn it off, it only goes to sleep. To get back into Rockbox when exiting from the iriver firmware, you will need to reset the player by taking out battery. H10 20gb push the reset. Hope this helps |

Sadly, there isn't one, unless we can somehow make ROLO keep some code in RAM to shut down fully when the OF is shut down... That might be a good idea. Ill bring it up with the devs on IRC...
