Rockbox database

Is the database for Rockbox the same as the one used by the original firmware? I used EasyH10 to update my H10 5G after uploading a bunch of music files via the UMS trick. They show up fine in the original firmware boot up. But when I boot to Rockbox the database there seems to be empty. I can see the music files and play them just fine.

Any pointers? Do I need to rebuild a sepaerate database within Rockbox???

Gary

Yes, you do. Hit the power button, go to general Settings, File View, and then Database. For the first time, you need to initialize, afterwards you can just update.

I finally figure that out, AND I realized I had to power off and back on before it seemed to take effect. I still saw no entries when browsing in database mode until I did the power cycle.

Thanks!!!
