Working on a theme called 'World'

Hi guys,

let me hear some feedback on my little theme.
It's based on Angry's Lavenia theme - real great work.
But in my opinion there were missing some information.
So I did a redesign.
Bitmap size is 88x88. More information like artist, album, track and track number on the main screen. More information by pressing the hold button.

Any comments so far?

Oh, it looks good Maybe a bit too crowded on the right side, but it probably has to be that way since there is so much info to display.
The play image looks kind of misplaced though, but I have no better suggestion to that one besides making a new image that looks more like the volume and battery bars etc.

I had in mind giving more information AND showing bigger cover art.
You're right: the right side is quite full. But big bitmap and 3 lines of text for id3 information use real big space. Thank you for your comments.

Other thoughts, ideas?

I think the mp3 logo would look better in a different font

The album art size seems a bit odd. Most of them are using 50x50 or 75x75 (at least for the 20gb ones). What caused you to pick 88x88?

Good question.
Angry used 91x91 in his theme. This was a bit too big for my design. So I decided to cut only some pixel. The album art patch supports pixel sizes which can be devided by 8. So I took the next possible value. And 50 or 75 seemed to be too small for me.
I use 128x128 bitmaps as cover.bmp and this works well with 88x88.

(BTW: Does anybody know why displaying pictures bigger than 104x104 is not possible with H10 5GB?)

This theme is optimized for the 5GB 128x128 display size. If I had the 20 GB H10 - you're right - I would have done a totaly different design.

Actually I am pretty sure the reason that you do sizes of 8 is to preserve the ratio of the screen. Aka. 1/10 of the screen, 1.16th of the screen. Cause 50 and 75 arent divisible by 8, but they work just fine.
