My iriver wont turn off.... ITS ANNOYING!!
OK well before people start saying just upgrade... it happens EVERY time i upgrade... i even upgraded the bootloader. I hold the off button... it says shutting down... the disk clicks a couple of times... and i touch the pad to see if its still on... and its just back to wherever i was last!!! with heaps of brightness or contrast no less!! Ive gone through the settings and put on disk spindown asnd shutdown and idle shutdown... none of it works. Does anyone know how to fix this problem i had a quick search and couldnt find anything.

Have you treid reseting it? IIRC, put the player on hold just after you've started rockbox.

Yeah its working now... i used angrymans build but when i reset it... it booted up again... very strange
