Tagcache troubles

Hi guys. I was using an older version of Rockbox which worked perfectly. When I updated to the latest version, I could no longer create a tagcache. I've tried everything: deleting all my tagcache files, using the old version again, but nothing works. What I have noticed however is that if I initialise for around 30 seconds to a minute, turn off the player and reload, some songs are saved in the tagcache. Only when I leave it for a longer time so that all my songs are cached it fails, so I'm thinking its one of my songs having too large an id3 tag? Is there any way for me to find out which mp3s are giving me trouble?

Cheers

how did you update to the newer version of rockbox?
did you delete the .rockbox folder and the rockbox.h10 file
and then unzip the newer version?

I initially had problems with tagcache when i was updating by just unzipping over the .rockbox folder; but ever since i started deleting the .rockbox folder etc.
no problems have been coming up

also guys from my experience i'd like to add:
1.always once extracted the new version on rockbox to the player turn on the player n keep the hold key on this shall reset all the settings of the previous build n the new features will be available
2.do not keep autoupdate feature on since it tends to make sometimes triple entries after sometime so whenever u add songs u can udate manually n this too creates triples entries if done somewhr around 5-6 times so this is a bug but manual update helps
3.load tag cache to ram n enjoy atherwise the player does seem to get frozen sometimes while processin

hope u have a good time rockboxin take care enjoy!!!!!!!!!!
