A bit iffy about Rockbox...

Alright, so I've already tried Rockbox on my H10, and I messed around with it for a few minutes, and then I switched back to the original firmware.

When I put Rockbox on, all I saw was the Text, Pictures, and Settings, or something like that. The main thing is that I didn't see the Music section.

I'm also confused with the wps's, and where to put them. I know there is a tutorial on this, but it doesn't make much sense to me (Sorry to whoever typed up the tutorial)

Can anyone offer any help as to why music isn't showing up, and where exactly to put the custom wps's, so I can continue using Rockbox again.

Thanks.

The Music folder is by default "hidden", so you might have to change that on your computer.
To use wps's you just have to extract the .zip/.rar files you've downloaded to the .rockbox directory.
Glad you like RB

Might I also suggest that you read the fine Rockbox Manual?

Actually, a survey that I did here showed that most people do read or at least refer to the manual.

I read it, and edited changes

It is, in general, very well written.

I did read the manual before putting on Rockbox to try and find out how to get the music to show, but as soon as they got into TagCache, and stuff like that, I just backed out of it.

aw, just when you're gettin' to the good stuff

The manual gets pretty technical at times, but it really helps after you get through it.

Rockbox is really more suited for the technical user. It seems those who dont want tons of options find it a tad difficult.
