Iriver died, any ideas for a fix?
So my iriver h10 20gb model has been sitting in a drawer for a couple of months and tonight I took it out cause I'm going to use it tomorrow. I charged it up for a little bit, then plugged in some headphones to listen to something and right when I started to play the mp3, i heard a click inside the device and the whole thing locked up. I tried to reboot it, but now it won't turn on. When I plug the usb cable into it, the charging light doesnt turn on and the thing is totally unresponsive.
The worst part? This is two weeks after the 1 year warranty passed. Any idea of how I could try and fix this? Any idea of how much it might cost for me to send it somewhere to get it fixed? Thanks |

this should be in the H10 forums not the Rockbox H10 forum
but mine started clicking when i dropped it and it ended up being the little arm the reads the HD was knocked of the HD somehow, that might be it, but i wouldnt think so since it was just in a draw, u would have to contact iriver to get it fixed, it would cost u tho since its not under contract, or u could try fixing it yourself
