Only one WPS allowed?

Hi,

I have about 6 or so WPS's on my iRiver H10 5/GB, but for one reason, only one of them will work. For example, I have the 'Bluegrass' and the 'Zenpod V4 (red' as well, but the only one that will work is the Zenpod H10 black.

When I try to load 'Bluegrass' or whatever, it will maybe change where the font is on the screen, maybe make the font larger or smaller, and change the color sometimes. But the background will stay the same or just go complete black. Then when I go into play a music file, the screen is all messed up.

But when I go back to open up the Zenpod H10 black again, it all looks normal.

Any idea what might be wrong???

I have the Rockbox with the album patch.

Which patch version ???
Also try the blackglass theme...

No there are unlimited WPS's allowed. You should check which patch you have. or download the latest version and then search for suitable WPS's... Not all work with the latest version of the patch but most of them...

ALSO DONT SELECT THEM THROUGH THE WPS MENU... SELECT THEM IN THE THEME MENU !!!!

Stupid question,

How to I check the patch version? I just started using RockBox yesterday, so I'm still a little new to it all.

So can i only have one WPS on the iRiver at a time?

No... You can have several WPS themes... and select in between them. Look for the version at the place where you downloaded your build. and check again if you really try to select them over the THEME menu and not the WPS menu...

I downloaded it from the post where I believe it was you that posted the RockBox with album art integrated into it.

And I do select it from the Theme menu. When I choose one, and I already have the Zenpod H10 one on, it usually changes where the text is, and then the background stays the same. And when I go in and try to find the background manually in the .rockbox folder, and I try and load one of the .bmp files as the background, it fails to load it.

Just to clearify, I am supposed to put them in:
E:\.rockbox\theme- and cfg- and background or whatever.

yep.. there you should put it... The problem is that i cant simulate the problem you have... I installed the newest build and everything works fine at the moment... Show themes -> selecting one... etc... Try to set up all the themes again in there proper folders... It looks like that the wps declaration goes wrong . Cause some things are changed and some not. the declaration of the whole WPS is stored in the cfg file.

Ok, well, i'll just play around with it. The only two I can get to work properly is the Dimension Six H10 and the Zenpod black. I'll try taking them all off and just putting one on at a time and making sure they work later on.

ONe last question though, can I put on WPS's that dont support album art with the album art RockBox version?

There may be some bugs... but i would suppose to start a thread which themes should be updated... Its not that much work and i am quite sure this could be a useful thread...
