Question Audio skips when using EQ

Hey, i'm new to rockbox and still trying to work it out. When playing a song with the EQ enabled the audio will stop for about a second, the hard drive will start spinning then the music resumes again. I've changed from the default wps and this still occurs, i'm currently using the Jack Sine theme. I've put the anti-skip buffer up to 5 mins, i've tried using the normal build and the album art patched version but this problem still happens. Is there something i've overlooked?

By the way i'm using an 6gb MTP player, and tagcache in rockbox if that makes any difference

We all have this problem. When you enabled the EQ the audio starts to skip. As far as I know, this problem hasn't been solved. So disable the EQ

The problem is that the EQ uses extra CPU power when turned on. At the moment, the H10's CPU isn't able to keep up so playback pauses from time to time while it catches up. This will be fixed in time by optimising how we use the CPU.
